ONLY ONE DESIGNER TO REPRESENT EACH COUNTRY
For each AFR event in Addis Ababa, Paris and Dubai, only 1 designer will be nominated to represent each African country by the Executive Board. The Executive Board is made up of global fashion experts.
Exclusive collection showcase (Country representatives)
The Executive Board of the Africa Fashion Reception invites entries from interested designers from around the African continent and the Diaspora. As mentioned earlier, only one designer will be nominated to represent each African country. Garments to be shown must be ready to wear, African inspired with global appeal.
EXHIBITION PAVILION
Each participating country will be provided with an exhibition pavilion where it can promote not only its garment and lifestyle products, but also its culture and tourism potentials.
Other Exhibitors
Apart from the country Pavilions, we welcome other exhibitors to take advantage of both the Addis Ababa and Paris events to display their outstanding products.
Why you must represent your country
Naturally, it is a great deal of pride & honour for anyone to be selected to represent his or her country. Not to talk of when it is on the global platforms of the African Union, UNESCO and Expo 2020 Dubai. This is an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime.
